About

Steve & Carol Daniels

Steve Daniels

God has blessed me with three talents, art, music and writing and I will use them all for His Glory for the rest of my life.

I love illustrating books of any kind for others. From technical illustrations to children's books. Write and illustrate my own children's books and novels. Was staff artist for the Air Force during Viet-Nam and prepared artist concepts of top secret aircraft. Also designed and built marine science exhibits for three public aquariums. Was an underwater photographer and ran an underwater search and rescue team. Been playing the guitar since the age of four. Don't know a note of music and play entirely by ear. Was inspired by Chet Atkins but have developed my own style of playing bass, rythem and lead all at the same time. Have cut six albums all instrumental. My first novel, "Guardians Of The Well" is now available.

Carol Daniels

Carol began quilting in 1981 and even then used her artistic ability to go a step further by hand cutting her stencils and then stenciled the blocks before quilting. She spent some time doing traditional quilts but found them too confining. In 1983 after moving to the Blue Ridge Mountains she began experimenting with art quilts. She loves doing hand applique, hand beading and hand embroidery, usually combining all in a small wall hanging. She does some free motion machine quilting and entered one of her quilts, "Peaceful Pond" in the AOS Paducah, KY show in 2012 which contained all of the above and it was accepted. Currently she is doing shredded fabric landscape quilts and loves it.
